AGDQ 2022 Concludes as the Event Raises $2.7 Million for Charity
One of my favorite events of the year has come to a close. AGDQ 2022 quicked the year off in fashion by shredding through some of your favorite games while too raising a whole lot of money for charity.
This twelvemonth's Crawly Games Done Quick consequence raised a total of $2,758,847 for the prevent cancer foundation. On summit of that, the result had switched over to an online format this year rather than being held in-person. The stream went pretty smoothly for the well-nigh role.
Our final #AGDQ2021 full is $2,758,847 for @preventcancer!
We hope that y'all had a wonderful time watching all of the runs and talented runners, and want to say thank you to everyone involved in the event, everyone who donated, and of class, all of you for being here with u.s.! pic.twitter.com/nBShMysTxR

The AGDQ runs featured some of the typical mainstays for the effect, plus some runs were added that had a wackier twist to them. One example would be the Celeste speedrun where the runners could merely use Dancepads or a blindfolded run of Super Mario 64. But the show concluded with my favorite game to watch anyone speedrun: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Fourth dimension.
Yet, we did get some new additions to the schedule besides. Hades was a welcome new addition to the event. I believe in that location was even a Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon speedrun in there.
While the globe has started to look like it is going down the toilet, I am happy to see that this consequence tin still take place and raise an astronomical amount of money for a great cause. Equally someone who has had family unit members pass from cancer and currently has another going through cancer treatments, It always makes my heart warm when I see my favorite hobby and others who share the same sentiment raise so much money for the cause.
Take something to tell the states most this article?
